Description

In the Netherlands we are dealing with one of worst Summers ever recorded. And it shows. Yesterday I visited an area called De Brand and I was surprised by the number and variety of mushrooms. Can you believe that. It's mid August and it looks like mid October. To show you some proof.. the photograph was taken yesterday, honestly.

Here Spring is approaching and a rarity happened. It snowed in Midrand which is not far from Pretoria. Here in Pretoria we had hail and rain though and a chilli wind is blowing since yesterday.Heave snowfalls has also been reported in Kwazulu Natal as well as in Mpumalanga. Here is a link to a online newspaper where snow pictures can be seen send in by online readers.http://www.news24.com/Galleries/Image/Images/MyNews24/Winter%20wonderland.
