Description
Another Dune inspired image.
This was a study in lighting and I am happy with how it turned out. I like the wau the textures reacted to the lights..gives you a warm sense of the desert.
Painted over and overlayed a rather intensive daz render!

Beautiful sympathetic lighting, reminds me of the old masters oil works. Check this image out, its a Da Vinci painting, the composition and tone of your work seems to have a lot in common.

I saw a later Dune inspired image you've done and so naturally, I simply had to go looking for more. I think you've captured not only the essence of Frank Herbert's literary universe, but also the influences OF that universe. Dune is so much more than Dune...it's a lot of what Frank Herbert viewed in terms of art and life and humanity, all of that lurks in this image. It's really well done, and is far more pleasing than the inadequate film/video versions of the Dune story. This rocks.
