Description
That wonderful, patient, compassionate artist, Adrie, has had a difficult time recently. Now her husband awaits test results for a lung complaint. Naturally she is worried.
This image is to help reassure her that her many viewers appreciate her work, and stand by her in her time of shadow.
I therefore ask you to join me in prayer for her husband, God holds him in His hand tonight. God gives him his every breath, now and forever. May God strengthen them both, and give His healing
where He judges it for the best. May they be at peace in the knowledge of His love for them, and for all His children.
I humbly offer three sayings of the Lutheran Sister of Mary, Mother Basilea Schlink. She repeats, simply, what it says in the books of the New Testament about Jesus, His Father and the Holy Spirit:
'God in His almighty love, always has exactly as much strength and aid, prepared for you, as you need.'
'God the almighty, enjoys doing great deeds - even for the least of His children.'
'God wants to hear our requests, for it is His great pleasure to fulfill them.'
They apply to Adrie and her husband. They apply to all suffering this day, and to all of us in our time of need.

It reminds me a bit at the Cape of Gibraltar I believe it's good to offer prayers as novenas for people in need.
