There is so much to like in this image! I love the sunlight and the shadows, especially in the way they interact with one another! I'm immensely drawn to the sunlight slanting through the window and dancing on the floor, picking out the design from the table. That is what grabbed me first, and then I lost myself in the shadow and light and the window itself. After a bit, I noticed the flowers and the Buddha figure and the table itself...and for some reason that is less odd than it may seem, I can imagine a Czech guy named Martin somewhere out of view. I met zillions of guys named Martin (pronounced marTEEN) and one, in the town of Cesky Krumlov, was really amazingly cool. He had the vibe of this room, and also what I've come to call a "dread mullet." Shorter hair in front, dreadlocks in back, and a habit of wearing sandals with black socks. He worked at a tea-house and had a decidedly buddhist-white-guy-Rastafarian vibe going...all buried beneath a lilting, somewhat musical Czech accent. Okay, that has nothing to do with this picture, but this picture has stirred that particular memory and I have to say that I like it immensely. You do such good work!
