My first love of fractals came with Ultra Fractal, but I have also learned my way around APO, but have to admit in the past few months since discovering MB3D i have seldom used the other 2 platforms. MB3D has so much to offer and explore it is amazing.  i work in the healthcare field in northern Manitoba so there is not that many distractions to keep me from exploring a newly found creative streak.Â

They are both cool Jim, but I have to say I like the first one better too! :)

Ooh I like this one for some reason, maybe the colours blend better or something. Excellent work and a great experiment for a tuesday though it is wednesday here.
Abysimus
I like this one better Jim, because (1) there is a sense of transparency in the spheres, (2) I like dark pictures generally, (3) the geometries of the smaller elements renders more visibly (4) there is a greater sense of mystery about it. Having said all of that, the fact remains that I like them both. The first rendition has a nice agate texture to it.

this is totally wild.I have not seen the other yet but I already like this

I like the first, this one's cool for the filter FX though, I'd try a 3rd one, overlaying this version over the first varying transparency and trying different Blend modes, bet you could get something good. Peace

Gorgeous image, excellent transparency my friend, loved it!

Phew, don't you have an easier task for us? ;-) I like this one, but I like the other one better. I like Len's idea! Corrie

Interesting to see them in two different expressions. Personally, I prefer this second one - it seems more mystical or something, hard to explain. Excellent idea!
renecyberdoc
i prefer this one jim, gives me the feeling of a hologram/space station.

I like this one best, maybe the colours draw me here!!!!
tennesseecowgirl
Very hard choice but I think I prefer this one more dramatic looking..
Glendaw
The first one reminded me of a set of drums, perhaps the colors made it more casual than this one. The darker colors makes it look more lush and extravagant!! Both are excellent and have their own significance. Great work, very creative Jim.

♥ Very nice looking artwork, it's better than the first one Jim, have a wonderful day ♥

This one is more interesting than the first, but that's a matter of color. If you are changing the color parameters, then suddenly a very different picture appears. matter of taste, but a great point of discussion, the use of filters and editing afterwards.RS

hi Jim i prefer the first one nice work on both

Shining.

I'm for the first

Both are fantastic, but I like this one. Maybe just because it's different, not the regular type of fractal. :)
