He was assigned guard duty tonight, so sneaking off from his nightly rounds wouldn't be a problem. It was a quick scan of the courtyard to find his beloved, and once spotted,he smiled to her. With a matching gaze, she beamed back, and made haste towards him. Their arms instantly intertwined as they met at the center fountain fixture. Holding his love in his arms, he could not help but let his emotions flow into action. His lips passionately met hers, as she responded to his kiss with her own. A feverish embrace.
