happy birthday to a very long time friend here. Lou was my second to first friend here at renderosity. mina was my first faved artist but she is in heaven now.. i hope you have a super birthday my friend and many, many more sweetie.. note: Lou's birthday is friday, friday, friday my muse is so running low, i'm forcing myself to create, so i think i need a break from creating, dought i'll be leaving. just not very inventive right now. ////////and most of all many, many, thanks for all who commented on my last post and left prayers for my mother, your prayers and thoughts sure helped out. her test on her colon came back super, doc said to her no signs of and cancer returning at this time, so she will not have another test for three years, that worries me.. should be yearly.. lol steve, i love ya all.\\\\\ character is Whimsy by: .seven. and Sabby hat is part of the amusement pkg by: propschick and Sarsa play the game bg by: Bez and Ilona hair by: Mairy

Lovely work. If I do say so myself, this is one of the finest portraits that you have ever done. The props you have chosen here totally sing of eekdog style. And the slightly sad eyed charcter seems to match your present mood. Great news about your mom, as the old saying goes "Cancer can be beaten." Dude! This is excellent! I agree this is one of your finest portraits. The texture details came out beautifully on all the props as well as her skin. Fantastic work. Glad to hear about your mom. That's such good feeling. I think I'd want to get checked out every year too, LOL! Unfortunately it has just been confirmed tonight that a close friend of mine's mom has the exact same thing. And unfortunately she is stubborn. He's worried she's passing up diagnoses from specialists at cancer centers and the like because she doesn't want to go far. I'm afraid this could not go well. It's like reasoning with a wall, literally. She's in her mid eighties, but otherwise seemingly healthy, so she may just be willing to see what happens with simple treatment. I really think she's afraid of chemo and I can't blame her.

Wonderful gift for Lou. Such good news about your mom. I absolutely agree the test should be done yearly. My dad had melonoma they emoved by surgry. He went for yearly tests for 5 years and then one year he did not get the tests and the cancer returned and he died within 3 months of getting sick. Test test and keep an eye on things.Important. Lets pray mom is going to be fine? I am sure she will be with you for a long while yet.

I think once you get past 50, yearly check ups are wise... I'm saying that because I'm going to be and idot for the next couple years - lol... I'd do a check up, but no insurance - I haven't had any on myself in over 10 years... I do have dental and did go to the dentist last week. Mina was your first Favorite artist? She was very cool... she always had a way of saying things that made me feel special about doing art - I haven't heard from vice sooooo long, I don't think he is amongst us anymore.... I sent him a site mail a long time ago and check it now and then, He's never opened it.... ya know Steve, I think that's the worst nightmare and I'm afraid I'm going to live it - worst nightmare? Outliving everyone that you love - can you imagine anything worse?
