...Le Santiago avait franchi la Mer des Brumes et pénétré des eaux jusque-là inconnues...Des créatures que l'on croyait imaginaires nageaient dans ces eaux limpides...Au soir du sixième jour, une île étrange apparut, entourée d'un anneau de brume...L'équipage partit à la découverte de l'île mystérieuse. Ils tirèrent leur chaloupe sur la plage de sable noir, frangée de cocotiers, et se faufilèrent entre les monolithes de cristal où jouaient les rayons du soleil couchant. Il faisait déjà nuit lorsqu'ils parvinrent au coeur de l'île, découvrant avec stupeur ce qui ressemblait à un immense cerveau de cristal. Et soudain, l'incroyable cerveau cristallin s'illumina, tout parcouru d'inflorescences lumineuses multicolores, ahurissant spectacle que les marins, médusés, contemplaient en silence, comme en transe... Encore une magnifique image qui fait galoper l'imagination !!! Bravo, Claude !!
