like a machine, he had perfect control over every muscle in his body, I have video of my time with Lee Priest and in one scene he flexes his entire body starting at his feet and rippling skyward in slow motion till his cheeks were cut with striations (sideways lines in muscle definition)....it is the most incredible thing I have seen) such control
in this shot he is in between poses and not a muscle is flexed....this is Lee at rest - poised ready to create beauty with his next chosen pose....

he went away to America to seek his fortune, became one of the most respected bodybuilders in modern history and has now returned to his home town I believe.... he was the most incredibly professional person I had ever worked with.....

Being a gym rat I always took an interest in the more extreme aspects of the sport. Lee Priest was one of my all-time favourites during his time as a pro. I like the fact that as a relatively small competitor, say compared to Doriane Yates, that Lee kept his proportion in control - he did not get really freaky. He was a really balanced guy both in body and from the interviews I read, in his mind. One of his funniest comments was that he wouldn't mind dying while eating a pizza, which was a total snub at the extreme diet mind set that pervades the sport.
