Description

...a Statue in the Garden from the Monastery where my Aunt lifes, this Statue is from a Nun (Sr.Paula)and Artist *Tisa von der Schulenburg* she lifed together with my Aunt (too a Nun),this wonderful Artist is a People i have known personally since my childhood... i have some charcoal drawings too of her (Mother & Child and the Brandenburg Gate in charcoal) http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tisa_von_der_Schulenburg http://www.tisa-von-der-schulenburg.de/ (sorry find not translated site) have a nice day and thanks for all :)

it has such a simple beautiful delicacy about it! can't help being drawn to the large child like eyes of the mother! The more one looks at it the more one is transfixed by the mothers face! Wonderful shot!! Martin
