I can hear the flapping of wings! What a lovely moment captured! Have they kicked up dust? Wonderful atmosphere and composition. This has very much the feel of hot days of summer. The bare, dusty field, the light, and the soft haze in the distance. I love the framing on the bottom by the plants and the light shining through them, especially the orange, yellow, and green back-lit plants in the bottom left corner. Beautiful image!

One of the joys of going on a Forum is finding artists I've not visited yet. I've been gone from RR awhile, so I barely have time for the artists I know well. But seeing your inventive fantasies in the DITI thread, I decided to go your gallery, and it's a real pleasure. Picking a few pics (right now), I can see your experience with the camera, and your variety as well. This is a gentle but sweeping photo, with a beautiful inclusion of "layers": ie, the mountains in the background, the line of trees in front of them, the open field in front of them (I assume it's a field rather than water), and finally, the grasses in the foreground. But you have that dust over the field, and the gulls (gabbiani). The gulls just "make" the picture, they pick up an otherwise gentle & pleasant landscape and give it a whole other life. They give it the "here & now," (immediatezza si? I know about 20 words in Italiano, bear with me lol!). I went from painting to photography last year, and I know that to get a photograph with these gabbiani in 'just the right place' takes patience and more patience. Beautiful work, and even moreso in full-size...
