Description

As I did at the end of the first phase of story writing with Tara (auntietk), I thought I'd show some of the process of creating the right image to go with the story (see here). This time, instead of showing the discards of a number of different images (there are plenty, believe me), I thought I'd post a selection of my attempts to illustrate the phase shift between Macali and Margaret - which I found to be particularly difficult conceptually (if you don't know who or what I'm talking about, please read the story - the links are shown below). Tara and I both finally agreed on this image. Oh my. I had no idea you did so many different versions of this image! Wow. How fun to see the result of your process! I still like the one we chose the best. I think it anchors the reader to the story. It's easy to identify with a human in solid form, since that's how most of us (you and your MMMM excepted) spend our time. :P Outstanding stuff, my friend!
