Awesome work Glenda. Your color choices are outstanding. I think you got you toys mixed up though. etch a sketch was a toy that only made straight lines and then you turned it upside down to erase it. What your image instantly reminds me of is a toy called spirograph. You had a set of wheeels that spin around and made some very intricate designs, (just like this one) Excellent work Hun.

I had 2 of those when I was a kid, took the 1st one apart see how it worked, got that graphite stuff all over the place, my Dad beat the crap outa me but mom got me another one anyway. This has more color than grayscale etchAsketch, maybe SpiroGraph, got a spirograph for my kids when the were little. They ran around the house using the little disc's as martial arts throwing stars playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Super work and thanks for the memory jog, those were good times Peace

These things have followed an interesting historical progression. Remember what preceded Etch a Sketch? Those tablets that had a sticky black surface covered by a transparent plastic sheet. You would draw on the plastic sheet with a wood stylus, and then erase what you drew by lifting the plastic sheet. This would be accompanied by a sound like peeling masking tape from a window. Then came Etch a Sketch. Then came Spirograph. And now we have the web. We think we are now modern, but just wait until Holodecks come on the market. When that happens, we will be able to walk around in each others renderings. You have a knack, dear Glenda, for triggering fond memories, as the comments on your image clearly show. And I most sincerely thank you for that.
