Description


House, stone and some trees modeled in maya and detailed in Mudbox. Grass and flowers is Paint FX. Leaves on ground is particle instances. Fog applied with PS, so the tree BG, and the rain. Rendering with MR and HDR-image for ligthing.

Thanks for your input. To achieve mood of wet thunderstorm I did this. -All lights become a bit blurred. I did that in post in PS. (duplicate the layer with lights, put some gaussian blur on the duplicated layer and change layer mode to screen, adjust opatcity) -Draw some strokes over the light and put motionblur on them in order to fake the lens effect you get when takaing a photo in wet weather. -Add fog in PS so it looks both as rain fog and rain bouncing of the ground. -Adjust the color so it is not so saturated and with a bluish tint (bluish tint because ground usually steal color from the sky)
