Description

A Close-up of the faces. The only other statue of such hugeness by Johnson that I know of is "The Kiss" which apparently seems to travel about as well. American Gothic stayed with us about a month and then was gone.

Wonderful image! I like the pov. Of course it would be difficult to get a different elevation without a ladder or something, but his face in 3/4 profile is superb.
