Description

The blistering heat has returned and with it the mosquitoes, unfortunately! The other evening I was at the garden of a friend... We tried to keep them away with citronella candles! I wish you all a wonderful weekend! :) Thanks for looking and for previous comments and favourites!

Immagine suggestiva, cara mc. Ma le zanzare sono state debellate? Io ho i miei dubbi.

Beautiful image, with wonderful textures, colors, and light! There is a lot of beauty in the details of the foil, the streaks of light, tinted orange on the right side, the patterns on the outside base, and glow of the bottom, seen through the melted wax. I love the many textures of the plants, wood-chips, foil, wax, wick, and flame. Excellent reflections in the melted wax. Our high today is going to be 40.5C and tomorrow 42C. But on the bright side, one of the very few good things about being in one of the worst droughts on record, is that the mosquitoes haven't been bad in San Antonio this summer.

Oh yes! How beautiful, indeed! I recently made a purchase of one of these, and remember giggling to myself at the fact of how beautiful these can be, yet if I were a mosquito, I'd be drawn to it, rather than being repelled :) They do have a yummy smell.....this is a great presentation though! Wonderful lighting and background scene! Hope the "tried" part in your caption, was indeed a success and you all came out "biteless" that night :)
