"The Scythian riders suddenly appeared in front of the royal Kurgan as Morgelft had expected".... N.B. The foreground is missing an element on the right, Vue wouldn't render a larger file. We'll see it in the next picture. Happy visit, and zoom in if you will! Odile XX

the negative space on the right is what makes this image for me....along with the light, the atmosphere and that uniquely Odile-ish style...this is really beautiful Odile

Here it is, the Vue-killer render... I wish I could see your original concept, but even without the missing part on the right it looks damn good... I agree with Carl about that negative space, the scene is still balanced, and the long shadow helps to fill this empty part so well... Spectacular work, my dear O.! Vashek

You know, what captures me most with your images is that you never go for balance, as it sometimes can get too repetitive. Something like this, illustrates great depth which is quite visible with your works. Two thumbs up, Odile!

I wonder, is your Kurgan at all similar to the one in "Highlander"? The "perfect warrior" but evil and twisted. Oh yeah, and immortal!

More amazing giant lithic sculptures! I love the fantastic design on these horse statues flanking the royal kurgan and the detail/colors on the armor of the real horses. Great textures and light. I'm sure there were a LOT of polygons in this :) Can't wait to see the rest on the next one, dear Odile. Fabulous, as always!

I like off-centre compositions so the missing element is not missed as far as I'm concerned, the negative space adds to the image...nicely done!
