Description

(recent images with the comment box left open have an asterisk in the title) When I was looking through my abstracts and 2-Ds to see what to post, I saw that I had a lot of the stages that led to my iceman which I did a long time ago. The first three, I saved because I like them, the others, probably because I was worried that Photoshop will give me that very irritating error message, and my work would be lost. I thought it would be fun to show you how ship rigging became an iceman. I left the picture pretty big. I hope you like seeing how "The Iceman Cometh." (Title of a play by Eugene O'Neill which I have never seen. It is, to put it mildly, not very cheerful.) 1. This is the original pic with only a black overhang of a building at top right taken out and a filter (Watercolor) added. 2. I played around with distort/wave. 3. Turned 2 on its side, and put it together with its mirror image. 4. Added Fresco filter 5. Distorted it with Polar Coordinates-Rectangular to Polar 6. Did a lot of moving things around with liquefy 7. Did more refining with liquefy, and added the eyes. Thanks for viewing and for previous comments and favs.
