Description


Frogner Park (Frognerparken) is a public park located in the borough of Frogner in Oslo, Norway. The park contains the world famous Vigeland Sculpture Park (Vigelandsanlegget) designed by Gustav Vigeland. Frogner Park consists of various bridges, fountains and a well known picnic area, popular in the summer for sunbathing, games, and relaxation. It also contains both Frognerbadet and Frogner Stadium. I saw this on Rick Steves. What fun to see it in person! It's like a magic trick. I mean ... you see pictures of stuff on TV or in books, and then you travel and you see the same thing (only it's better in person), just like it looked in the picture, and it seems amazing to me! LOL! Does that make any sense? Great composition. The people in the foreground couldn't have been better placed. Wonderful image!
