Very interesting, indeed! Beautifully done, Corrie! There are probably some life lessons - even spiritual lessons - that can be gleaned from your observation on lighting and shadows. I love the time of day when the sunlight is this color. Great job on the render!

You are beyond all doubt absolutely right. It is all about the light. I remember sitting one morning before sunrise, at the base of Mount Whitney (the highest summit in the contiguous United States with an elevation of 4,421 meters). It appeared formless and indistinct in the predawn dusk, but with the first rays of the sun, magnificent glory was revealed. Your image captures it to perfection.
