Description

Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the capital of the island of Tenerife, and jointly with Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the capital of the Canary Islands. It is located in northeast quadrant of Tenerife, about 210 kilometres (130 mi) off the northwestern coast of Africa within the Atlantic Ocean. The cosmopolitan spirit of the city is mirrored by these huge rocks painted with the faces of the most famous musicians worldwide, from Franz Liszt to Elvis Priesley. The rocks protect the back of the rocky tongue where the Auditorium by Calatrava is located. Thanks for your kind comments.

What a shot! What a find! I really have to visit that place and see some of what you've been showing us here, live and in person! Marvelous! I love this in particular, especially the muted colors and the nicely rich mood. This is really super stuff. Nicely crisp and in the way you're showing it, nicely mythic!

Makes you wonder, when you look - what you can find! Simply amazing, I'm glad that you somehow immortalised here, because the saltwater will erase it, no doubt? but I also like the volumetrics over the horizon or god-rays, as some call them! BB

I love the "harsh" beauty of La Palma. The tourism is decline on this island. Unfortunately!! Class pic!!

I see at least one Beetle in this curious but no less impressive roll of honour. That is one fascinating tradition. Thank you for bringing this to light.
