Hi there.
Every year between July and August we got one of them near our house and this year I took my chance to manage some shots.
I use a low aperture of f8 to get the DOF-effect. What do you think about this beautiful guy?

Love the colours on this guy- kind of like that paint on some high end sports cars that changes colors depending on viewing angle. Nice macro!

This is a gorgeous creature; I happen to like longhorn beetles, as we call them here in Chicago...quite a number of them are "pest" species...but I'd rather have them than many of the human neighbors I've had to endure! Great colors and I love the feel of the miniature environment in this shot.
