Description

Back in the 70's I used to spend ages in the bookshop looking at the sci-fi books. The cover artists were heros of mine, and one of the best artists was Chris Foss. This image is dedicated to his work. I wasn't sure which gallery to put it in as 90% of it is a MB3D fractal, but the spaceship at the top was posed and the whole image rendered in DS4 so that's where I've posted it! :)

I met Chris Foss a few weeks ago during the launch of his book, nice guy. I was inspired in the seventies by his artwork too. Nicely done!

excellent i see this "Mountain"as the ore place.i created a similar one as kryptonite/spackonite ore mining place where i let some of my scenes take place. very creative work and inspiring to me.
