Description
This scene was composed and rendered in Vue9. I am experimenting with light and shadow, and wanted to recreate a late afternoon light effect. I hope you like it.
Note: Image on the painting is a Bourguereau, "Les Noisettes" - painted in 1882. Sharp-eyes will see that the image is flipped, left-to-right, which was done to draw and center the eye to the focal point of the piece. Apologies to William Adolphe.

Its a really beautiful render but there is something with the scale of the objects in it that bugs me. Perhaps the grapes and pears are just decorative items and not in real world scale, but as it is they make the cat look way to big. Also the bottle look small compared to the cat... Anyway you captured the afternoon lighting very nice!

To some of the comments here, thank you for the feedback. I agree. Something is off a bit. It's the scale of the objects in relation to one another (the grapes, the pears, the bottle in relation to the cat in the foreground. It happened to Vermeer all the fricken' time, so I know how he felt when someone would offer, "Say here my good man, that apple is much too large in relation to that snuff box. Have you not heard of something called 'perspective'? Look it up you amateur!" Sigh!
