Description

Here is a timeline showing all the stages (instars) of the Southern Green Stink Bug. Crazy to think this all came about from finding the mother bug on the side of my house one morning clinging to the stucco and placing it on one of my flower pots. Out of all those babies that hatched there are only 2 left in my flower pots!!! Assume many left as they are small pots and there was just too much competition for food. Over the weeks I would find some of the nymphs roaming around the backyard. I would gather those and place them back in one of the flower pots, but they have their own instincts. Of the 2 left (the adult in the center is 1) the other is still one stage behind the final stage of molting. Thinking it will get there in the next day or two.
