Daz, Photoshop, GIMP This is for an entry in the weekly theme contest for a group on Deviantart.com "...He knew he shouldn't keep this up, keeping his elven love a secret from the world, but this is how it had to be. He would always choose his love over his country. Looking deep into her light sappire orbs that returned his gaze, he let a smile slide across his lips. Sliding his hand to a small satchel attached to his belt, he opened the pouch, reached in and revealed his momento for her: an Alkanet flower. Rare in this part of the kingdom, the properties of the flower were said to restore the mind to a sharpened state, but it's main attraction was it's illuminescent feature. It almost seemed to glow in the starlight, the glow of the flower reminding him of the glow he felt from looking lovingly into his love's eyes..."
