Description

Just a little doodle on the backside of a worse doodle than this LOL ! Have a beautiful day. We had thunder all night but we were lucky it was in a distance, so it wasnt so bad. Now it os cooler weather and we can breath again :) Thank you so much for viewing, comments and favs to my previous post. It is Highly appreciated :)

My dear, a "doodle" is a cartoon spider wearing a top hat and a bow tie (my specialty). What you're doing is sketching, drawing, making art! For me to produce this lovely drawing would take hours ... days ... perhaps weeks ... and it would still look like crap! LOL! Your talent is so natural, and the results are always beautiful. This is lovely! So graceful with the leaves, and such nice detail in the stand and the pot. Wonderful work!

lol, Tara's great remark. You & Ana & Andrea with the word "doodle"! You all should be charged for using that word, when you turn out such beautiful pieces under that title. Beautiful modeling on the stand & pot & on each leaf. Beautiful shading, including the gradual lightening on the 'stand' towards the fully white section. You did it all in simple straight lines & shadings. More beautiful pencil-work from you. And fine separation of the plant leaves from the pot, and also fine suspension of the blooms that fall off the plant---typical of the spider plant's "pathways". It's all done so well, right down to the pot's bottom, with all those wavy lines on what I assume is a doily or place-mat of some kind. When you do serious line-work with pencil, you amaze me, as I've only been able to do this with pen---and stiff & small nibbed pen at that. And lol about the doodle on the other side: I'm dying to know what it is, because it looks like some crazy-legged creature back there! And I see the famous "Arches" watermark (Rives), with that "infinity" sign in the paper. (Nice paper, Helle!) Beautiful piece, bursting into the frame. Like your paintings, it's so good to see you post drawings, reminding us again how very fine you are at this art as well.
