Description
"Hey Buck, I want a word" whispered Jasmine. "Will you come over here a sec"
Buck got up & wandered over to Jasmine.
"Listen mum has found a birds egg in the garden, I saw her look in the trees but couldn't find a nest. I think she hopes to take a pic" said Jasmine in almost a whisper.
"Oh, that is sad that she doesn't know where it has come from" replied Buck.
"No forget about that" said Jasmine. "I have an idea, which will get us a nice treat."
"Pardon" said Buck.
"Listen, I heard her say she had taken a pic on the top of the wheelie bin but it wasn't good, so is going to put in on the pink concrete slab. Now, I will walk away as if I am not bothered, when she puts it down you go over & pretend to look, cause she won't tell you to leave it like she will me. Then you take a swipe at the egg, it will break & we can have the spoils."
Are you sure that is a good idea" questioned Buck.
"Yes" she said.
So Buck came over took a swipe at the egg, it broke BUT unfortunately before Jasmine could get there Buck had tasted it & I had picked it up.
Buck walked over to play with a piece of cotton hanging from the curtains I had just washed & started playing. Jasmine walked over to him.
"Well thankyou very much Buck, that didn't go to plan, I was supposed to taste too" cried Jasmine.
"OOOps, sorry, you didn't miss much really" laughed Buck.
"Its the last time I will ask for your help" said Jasmine, "Where is Zlata when you need her."

Oh that was so funny, the collage is fabulous and those two are really quite mischievous when they get together aren't they? I really enjoyed you telling me all about that particular event when you were here today, and how my dogs interacted with you when you went through all the motions, soooo funny. Didn't we have fun today, thanks for the wonderful yummy cakes they were the highlight of my most peculiar week. What would I do without your visits, you certainly make my whole household smile when you come a calling. This is a great story told in pictures. LOL Poor Jasmine missed out on the egg but I'm sure she is far from starving.

I do find it hard to believe that a cat would ask if that was a good idea when it came to a bird egg. ;D LOL! But great work on this story anyway! ;) Excellent captures! :)

Ha Ha Ha!! Wonderful story, but I too found it hard to believe that Buck would question how good an idea it was to take a swipe at a bird's egg and grab a taste or two. Of course, Buck is a cat of a different color, grins. After all, she actually likes dogs. Ah well, poor Jasmine's nose it out of joint now, she didn't even get a whiff of the egg. Poor dear girl.

They get on so well together. My mother had three poodles and three cats; two of the cats just tolerated the dogs, but the thrd, a Siamese, used to play with them.
