Description

After the battle the survivors are left to wonder why. Thank you Val for Hayden. I know this is kind of a dark mood scene but I think Hayden stands up well to the task. And this is quite different than most images of her. Thank you RPublishing for the Sexy Savage Armour. This will probably be my last image for some time as I am travelling to Turkey for a few weeks holiday and then I am in Europe. Be back in late September. Hopefully will get some inspiration while I crawl around the ancient ruins!!

You always do a magnificent job of making the lights fit the story and enhance the mood. This is a great example of that.

Very poignant. Beautifully done. Her pose and all the props detail a great scene. The postwork work looks excellent on this image. Great lighting. I'm jealous for your travels. Have fun and be safe. Turkey's pretty safe, but you never know. Take some photos of those ruins.

Wonderful work Roxy. Yes the warriors work is dirty and ghastly, and you've captured it nicely.

Amazing work! Wish I had more time to spend in your gallery (I will be back soon). Fabulous postwork and your lighting amazes me (a little more with each image I view).

Well .. this year has me so far behind with you, Rox', that it's hard for me to know where to pick things up. So I am looking over the main page of your gallery and ... well, you know my eyes ... the warmth which emanated from the thumbnail for this work pulled me right through the door.  :-) The thumbnail did not exaggerate; the warmth of this scene is luscious.  The overall work, on all counts, is wonderful.  If I had to place this within a specific genre of art it would be within the canon of Pre-Raphaelite expression. It is always story which inspires you and in this case the illustrative tale captures the imagination straight away and holds it well.  I will enjoy returning to this for a long time and just gazing for a while .. discovering something new with each visit.  There are so many delightful details for the eyes to feast upon. It is imagery such as this .. true to your own inner yearnings .. where you should focus with intensity. Can you image this as a greeting card or a framed print?.. I can.  It is inspired craft which people can live a long while with. ummm ... they're raising up the music .. I better go for now. With dear warmth, Terry
