Description

Still without Vue. Trying to understand lights in Poser. Evern though I have had poser for almost 10 years I have never used it for complete scenes in a serious way. I have dabbled from time to time but can't get the feel I want with it, especially with outdoor scenes. So, I'm trying to learn Poser lights, thats what everything looks so plastic. Small steps.... Thanks for looking, rap...

Still looks pretty darn good to me. I wish I had the memory and power on my PC to render complex scenes like this. I would have crashed way before this was halfway down the screen.

Outdoor lighting isn't all that easy in Poser, at least compared with VUE, which does a great job with outdoor stuff. You can definitely do some interesting stuff with it though once you get the hang of it.

Well I am a fan. And this is a must zoom pic. And I am scifi fan. So this is cool and I like it. This has great detail and I can tell you spent time composing it. 'nuff said.

Very nice scene, mate. I sympathize with you on the Poser renders. The lights and the render engine make getting realistic renders dashingly difficult. That being said, this looks far from "plastic"! A very nicely composed scene, with much attention paid to details. Bravo! Good luck on getting Vue back, btw. Under similar circumstances I have been forced to do a complete uninstall and then re-installation. Yech.

You're getting some pretty good results for not knowing how to setup Poser lights. Well, just like your other art programs, practice makes perfect. Good luck!
