Very fine and excellent capture, Priska! Looked like lots of cross' at first glance. I'm a bit impressed if these really can hold tons of heavy snow back on the slope! :o)

We do need these here in Washington state...the Cascade Mountains are very prone to avalanche problems in the spring. Love your POV...that looks like at least a 45 degree slope.
