Description

I went out Saturday night to the Worley to do a little astrophotography. The Weather was clear, got out there, set up and realized I forgot my controller at the house. I was going to go home when my friend said that there is a comet around M71. I called my wife and I was glad that she and my daughter brought the controller out to me. I did not get a lot of pictures because of different problems throughout the night. Here is one picture I got. The Dumbbell nebula is at the top left. M71 is in the center bottom and the comet is 1 1/2" up from the bottom right above the star. It is not the best picture, but it will do for now. Thanks for viewing

That is so cool! I've seen several pictures of the comet nearby this grouping, I'm so impressed you caught some yourself!
