When characters eyes are focused on something out of frame, it looks odd and disconnected. A little glow or ambiance added to the fireball would also help. She's really cute. Hope I don't sound so critical, just trying to help.:^)

I think it looks a bit too "cool" to fire from the hip. Maybe you should raise her arms a bit into a a more realistic fighting pose.
