Description

Professor Tribini 1915-1973 was not a professor at all, but a great danish Entertainer and actor. Loved by us all, because of his optimistic and happy performance. He was everywhere, but mostly in this very old Amusement Park "Bakken", whish was open this year for the 428th season. Some times Tribini was visiting schools and other places and once he made a visit at our institution. I was 11 years old and the institution was preparing a party with Tribini as the entertainer and we needed a poster with Tribini. Therefor he came some days before, to get his portrait drawn for the poster. I was asked to be the one to draw him and I was lucky to draw him well enough to be used on the poster. Strange to draw a portrait of a live model so famous. :) But I was so honoured and proud at that time LOL! The poster is long gone and I dont even remember how it looked. Have a beautiful day. The wind is gone and we are getting a little warmer weather again :-) Thank you so much for viewing, comments and favs to my previous post. It is Highly appreciated :)

What nice memories! I'm not surprised to hear you were selected to draw this famous man. You were undoubtedly the most talented in your school! I think the kind of talent you have is inborn, not learned. You're so good, you must have somehow had a head start on the rest of us!

This sounds to be a happy man and what great memories you have of him. What an honour to be chosen to draw him. Super captures.

What a shot! He does look like a fantastic entertainer: a little bit of a comedian, a little bit of a singer and maybe a magician also...a little bit of everything, I think. I love his happy expression and his highly fashionable tie. This is marvelous, and it does not surprise me that you started art at a young age. Most good artists start very young. Ha! I bet we will discover a beautiful painting in the future, only to learn that you painted it when you were 2. It could happen, you know! And as for this piece of work, it's marvelous! I like the Danish text. Of course I love a language with "ø" as one of the letters. I have no clue how to even pronounce it, but I love the way it looks! This is a fantastic glimpse into a very fun life.
