This is rugged and quite majestic! I love winter landscapes like this, especially with pine trees approaching "old growth" and snow, like an oddly blank canvas that allows an image to form as it will, and almost like something improvised and incomplete...well: like reality is playing around and making things up as it goes along, but isn't quite finished yet. Well, that's how snowscapes look to me, or images containing snow. This is marvelous and I love the colors in it as well.

I love this! The colors, composition, contrasts, and shapes are simply fabulous! Beautiful whiteness of the sky that seems an extension of the snow, straight lines of the trees with the snow showing behind them, lines, detail, and shades of the grass, and shapes and reflections of the water. I love the spindly horizontal lines of the branches, a little horizontal flavor in a vertical world. Gorgeous image!
