Description

A side view of the Auditorium of Santa Cruz, Tenerife. Truth to tell, I first thought it was a giant wave, also because the building is near the ocean; however, seen from this POV, the sail seems beaten by a fierce gale! For those who asked: unfortunately I couldn't visit the interior, It was closed and, in any case, I didn't have the time. Thanks for your kind comments.

Marvelous! I've read a bit too much science fiction during my childhood (at least some people would say that) and so when I saw this, I immediately wondered if you'd actually traveled to one of the worlds Frank Herbert wrote about outside of his Dune novels. This is such an intriguing structure and I'd love to see it in person, just to feel it. I love your treatment of this photo, and the sense of scale you give us by allowing one other human visitor to stay in frame. Perfectly seen and presented!
