Description
My new character.
I decided to use my Precious Pearl backgrounds since ROMP (Renderosity Marketplace) rejected them & said they were average, not up to standard & looked like they were thrown together in a simple paint program.
Ouch. They've said that about my last 5 products.

I think Rendo is off their tracks by rejecting the backgrounds. They were so USEFUL in that they didn't lock the artist into a single look and could be so freely embellished or cut or .. well, I can think of so many things to do with them! In fact I'm planning to use one on the next piece that I'm creating because it was perfect for it! They were beautiful, subtle, gorgeous sheen.. I could go on and on here! If they only had a look at a few of the art pieces created with them.. I dunno what the issue is. I think this girl is beautiful, lovely posing and such a great render. And i LOVE that background, hon! hugz

I agree with what DAGrant said about your backgrounds .. Rendo is full of .. well .. you know. Backgrounds need to be versatile, and yours are. I don't think that was considered at all. Not only are they beautiful, but they don't overpower the image, they add to it. There are so many ways to use your BGs .. and that's the important part, I would think. Pooh on them. I'm glad I got them. Thank you. Love your new character, she's got a charm, an air, an elfin quality, a beauty that's almost regal.

While I haven't used them as yet I was very pleased with your gift of the BG's, very subtle and perfect for portrait work and many other uses. A few cloud brushes like you used and they're something else entirely. I like your character here, very unique, not a cookie cutter cutie.
