Description

I made this as a tribute to all the South African Rhino who are losing their lives almost every day.The situation is very serious indeed, very hi-tech in some cases, the poachers using helicopters to spot the rhino. The Rhino are shot with machine guns or darted and the horns are hacked off with a chain saw or machete, the rhino are sometimes still living and can suffer for hours before succumbing to their wounds. I have had a very tragic and terribly sad month. I got Parvo Virus in my kennels and I lost 4 of my rescues in one week:-(. I lost one of my older dogs, Teddy, earlier on in the month too. I am still reeling from the shock and loss. I wish I could get back into creating but my creative juices are all dried up:-) Enjoy your weekend Luv Ya!! Sylvia

Sad to hear about the virus in your kennels, that sucks. As to the decimation of species, we are simply the worst thing to happen to this planet I figure.

Sorry to be so blunt and it is not racist, but until the Chinese give up their supperstitious medicines and truely join 21st century society these creatures are doomed. Now the poachers have 21st century technology to feed cultural habits from medieval times - the mismatch is deadly for many of the worlds creatures including tigers, elephants and rhinos to name a few of the more charasmatic victims.

Very beautifully done, and so very emotively. The title is scary. Yes, I too know of the rhino poaching... and it truly sad. Sorry to hear about losing the ones you rescued.
