This shot appeals to me - I like the whole composition, especially the dead Juniper branches in front - without any colour, against the azure-blue sky and the ocker-red clay soil. BB

Bleached branches, red earth, and deep blue sky. That is what I think of when I think of the western United States. You have captured that marvelously here. Beautiful colors, composition, textures, and detail. Excellent shot!
