I've just been in a Village People act for work!
Self portrait.
On a serious note: I'm an Australian and don't know any Native American Indians. So I hope this isn't offensive in the same way as 'black face' and the like is. It certainly isn't my intention. Please let me know if this does cause offense to anyone and I will glady take it down. Over here is Oz, the Village People show we did was a hit! The audience was roughly 3000 people! My original character in the show was the Biker! The Village People are still very popular over here.

I am part Blackfoot Indian. It is always fun to see people around the world enjoy The People's art and life style. Can't get upset because we have been trying to centuries to show we are not animals, but people with talent and wisdom. It is actually a complement in my eyes. Well done shot (and I hope you did a dance to match the bonnet.LOL)

Yatahey! That there's, what what some of those western plains guys with the eagle-plume head-thingies said. I think "How" often spelled "Hau" came about as a shortening of "howdy" but I could be really, seriously wrong about that. I have Choctaw blood running through my veins: they're those guys for whom the State of Oklahoma is named for; they never wore the war bonnets, but they have some pretty cool horse tail things that they wear on their belts, sticking out behind them like...well...like horse tails; and what does any of this have to do with this really cool self-portrait? Absolutely nothing! I do tend to ramble, you know. I like this quite a lot, and as for the Village People...I think you should do all of the characters! But that's just me. Marvelous!

In addition to being Scots-Irish, I'm part Cherokee on both sides of the family, and I think this is hysterical. Hmmmmmmmmmmm, The Village People. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.. As a gay man, what can I say about The Village People? That's a good question. Hmmmmmmmmmmm. I'm glad that they're popular SOMEWHERE. I'm glad your program went over so well. Looks like you're having a blast!
