Description

Well, I am trying to come back and making time for some art and the galleries. I tried to catch up some on comments today, but it is going to take me awhile. I've been gone almost 2 months. Joey my horse seems a little better now that he is on the medicine. My mother is about the same only getting some dimentia. She calls me over 20 times a day and doesn't remember doing it. I really miss the galleries and am determined to find time for them. Thank you for your comments! They mean a lot to me. Extra attic junk are freebies from DryJack.

Yes! I do recall one cover on a Nancy Drew Mystery that looked very similar to this now that you mention it! We had a few of those books in our very limited one room rural schoolhouse when I was growing up and I read them all. Good stories and writing! Fond memories! I am encouraged by news of your horse. I know your emotions regarding what your mother is experiencing. My mother had alzheimers and lasted for... well, too much said. I keep you all in my prayers. Lovely artwork here. It is the connection to this art, I think, that helps us maintain some semblance of sanity. God Bless!

Nancy Drew eh? I don't remember her dressing like this, but I'll bet she would have had even more youn boys reading if the covers looked like this. I certainly wouldn't mind her in my attic. Great render and lighting. Nice clutter and beautiful character. I'm glad to hear your horse is doing better, but I'm sorry to hear about your mom. It must be so hard. It is not selfish to get some 'me' time for yourself, it'll help you recharge for down the road events. I wish you the best.
