Description

Loosely based on a character in a book I really should get back to writing one of these days... :) ===================== This is a bit of a random one, and another one that nearly went in the render bin at the end of yesterday... :S I got Reality for Daz the other day, since I was having no luck using Pose2Lux, and found that after 21 hours, I still had a horribly grainy, very low-res render. I got frustrated and wandered off into Carrara to see what sort of render times I was looking at to get good results. Then I got sidetracked. :) Whenever I go back and use Carrara, I end up wondering why I don't use it more often. The DOF for example (although I've only used it very minimally here) is SOOOO easy and quick compared to Poser! I think if the Poser import worked better, I'd probably use it for far more rendering, but I find the Content library a bit too clunky for my workflow. This is a great image, love his pose and that expression! Winter is a great time to pick up the writing again, I always take a break from it in the summer.
