'British' airborne scooter, it's a 'Welbike', or based on it.Designed at Welling City Gardens for dropping in parachute containers.First large scale use was during 'Operation Market Garden'.Brilliant image, you don't see many of these about.The company that made them was bought by Suzuki and this became the 60's classic 'Monkey Bike'.Great post, thanks.
