Description

At 6'2" Tarna strikes an imposing figure, despite her enchanting good looks. She moves with the grace of a veteran warrior, always balanced and ready to react. Those reactions are as well, honed to perfection and few are the times when she is caught off guard. Born and raised in the great tribes of the north Tarna grew strong and proud. As the daughter of her tribes leader, she was expected to go along with a marriage to one she did not love, for political reasons. Unwilling to silently sit around a tent and have babies, as is expected of all barbarian females, Tarna struck out on her own to see the world. At the tender age of 14, Tarna left her people, refusing to be married off to the leader of another tribe. The first winter was hard for Tarna alone in the wild, but she survived the elements and the monsters with stoic resolve. In the spring of that year Tarna met a being who would be one of her closest friends for the rest of her days. Tarna learned the ways of the forest and it's many inhabitants. She learned to use a sword, an axe and a bow with greater skill than any female in her tribe ever would have been allowed. Then one day, after her third winter in the wild, her new friend introduced Tarna to another who would mold and shape her into an even greater warrior than she could have ever imagined. In the spring of the third year on her own, Silvara introduced Tarna to Shandara. At first, as with most surface dwellers, Tarna was not overly anxious to accept the drow elf, due to the history of her people. In time, however, Tarna realized Shandara for the champion of good she is and they became close friends. "The girls of the north" became the nickname told in tales of the trio of adventurers as their exploits became more widely known in the years to come. And an odd trio it was, comprised of a silver dragon, a rogue drow and a warrior princess. Enjoy, -Arakas

Excellent! The famous scythian Amazons were over 6' tall, so Tarna suits that model perfectly. And she seems a worthy companion to Shandara. Bravo on the fine team you are assembling. Can't wait to hear more about their adventures!
