Description

This picture is next photo of a series of photos taken at the World Cultural Heritage Site at the Völklingen Ironworks. It's a part of lower side of the ironwork. These machines are part of the sintering plant, builded in1928. So i postwork it as b/w. It's part of the first step of making iron. Ore dust was baken to a ckae and then broken in little piece to get recycled in the ironwork. Excellent capture! I think the B&W puts a proper perspective on the atmosphere in a place like this. :)

One summer many years ago I worked in an ironworks as a sweeper. I could not help but constantly wipe the sweat from my face and my nickname soon became "spooky".
