I'm pursuing my passions: writing prose (historical fiction, urban fantasy), photography, and poetry (mostly classical Gothic poetry). I am amazed at the creativity within this site. It is like looking at a gemstone: all the different art forms and styles are its facets. Oh, why PSDuck? I make duck noises, especially the "chuckle" and the "food call". Yeah, I talk to ducks, go figure. Done so since I was a child. PSDuck (Allen)
I also coach and mentor ESL college students.

You guys get all the weird stuff. I'd like to say that I'm jealous, but...no. Give Lea a hug for me! Jeff

oh! glad you both are ok...i had some similar experience..but without any damage for us or the car...a bird ...not too much big and not too much small..impacted with the glass...but it was a tangencial impact ..the bird bounced and we have not to stop...i even hardly seen it!

♥ After a very sad week, I’m back for making comments on your captures dear Allen, this one is not so nice, but I wish you and dear Lea a great day/evening ♥

It is always so sudden and unexpected! I am not surprised at the damage. Had your windshield been already cracked, the goose might well have gone right through. I just got a new windshield in my Jeep a few days ago, and I do feel safer.

Yikes, I've heard of plane strikes but a CAR strike? Absolutely amazing story and capture.

Allen! Lea! Just found this (still have 350 e-bots in my e-mail in box!), are you safe? Is Lea OK? Are you OK? You are both so lucky with a goose the size of Canada.. Graphic picture to say the least, sums it up.. Shocking.. Am putting a big note on my desk to write to you when I return from Rosys.. (Been lots going on here sorry), this time I will.. Take care.. I noticed the feathers right away. As long as you are both OK the it is a great shot.
