Description
I spent 2 days in Deal Island, Maryland where the 52nd Annual Skip Jack races were held. Please take the time to Google Skip Jack vessels of the Chesapeake Bay, Maryland area to see how big of a deal this really is. There are about 50 left from the late 1800's and early 1900's and 14 of them sailed to Deal Island to race. Some of them are used for Cruise vessels and stationed at various Maryland Islands.
