Description
This is a very expensive model I bought this weekend... and then spent many hours modifying it and setting it up to use in poser. Lately I've been thinking about this car a lot. My Dad owned this car as it is shown here ( as best as I can recall )
Even all these years later, I can still remember so many things we did together in this car, drive in movies, trips out of town, racing a 79 trans-am on the way home from the grocery store, how hot the seats would get in the summer... not friendly to those wearing shorts :)
Hopefully one day I will be able to find one restored in this color scheme. For now I can enjoy it in 3D.
I still have some fine tuning and UV Mapping to correct, as well as get all the parts set up in poser ( wheels turning, doors opening, etc. )
Ultimately this will just be for me.
This image started out as just testing and setting up materials but I liked it so I took it all the way to a posted image :)
Thanks for taking a look.

1969 Charger R/T SE 440....know the car only too well...My 1st car was a 1970 Cuda...after my brother twisted the frame due to an over active engine and a lead foot I traded it for 69 Charger R/T....Wish I had either or both...especially at today's current prices.. Some Intense Tweaking going on here I must say...Amazing Outcome!..Nice that you decided to stay with a powder blue stock paint job....Most Impressive Modeling!..

The original Model was created by SQUIR. So he gets the majority of the credit... honestly it was the only model worth buying on the net of a 1969 Charger R/T, it also came with a Dukes of Hazard version :) For My Part: I had to separate many items and create new materials, fix some UV issues. I separated the top so it could have a separate texture. The suspension was altered to give the car a raked stance, the front wheels and tires were scaled down to fit the wheel well better and be able to turn. back wheels and tires were widened, sidewall uv map on tires needed to be flpped so the white lettering wasn't backwards, license plats were separated and have separate maps to prevent backwards lettering. All the glass was separated in mesh and material. Side mirror was originally a single material, so I added a mirror material zone so it could really be a mirror. complete doors were separated from a single mesh, copied, moved and scaled the charger lettering for the top, and more. And then there is all the work to make it articulated in poser ( W.I.P. ) Thanks everyone for the views and comments, This has been fun so far.
