Well...now that I spent more time thinking about the lotion than the picture...or the poem...I still don't have a remedy other than keep washing it with no conditioner for a few days and see what happens. OK...now I'm putting your pic in my favorites, smiling at your poem and moving on........

My best recommendation for your hair would be a citrus-based shampoo like Avalon Organics Lemon. You might have to wash it two or even three times, but it should work like a charm. If you can't find that, or if it isn't strong enough, or if you just want to take care of it right this minute, try liquid dish soap (Dawn, Joy, something like that, but not the stuff for the dishwasher). It's harsh on your hair, but it WILL strip it back to the point where you can wash it and then use a regular conditioner. (And you probably already have some in your house!) Good luck! :)
