Description

"The knight has decided to buy a new horse, faster and more fresh for the next trip, one into the forest of the Elves - if there is such a thing. Certainly the huge and mountainous forests that lie ahead can hide unknown and forgotten things. But Elves, actually? The boy will be left in good care with the village people, albeit he's the course of all this trouble. He was bitten by a bat a week ago, and now his father, the Count and the rest of the family fear that he might be under the strange but deadly hydrophobia spell, that turns its victims into crazy, wild beings, afraid of water and with warewolf-like behaviour before they die - men and beasts alike. The Elves have a cure, a protection - so the rumour has it, at least. So the knight, a loyal servant, has set out to do his best. All this because the silly boy managed to catch a bat that, unusually, was out during the daytime..."
#6 in my series with the nobleman's son and his escorte/guardian. They may even be given some names eventually :) The "awkward" posing of the boy is deliberate, he's supposed to be not so familiar with dogs or other animals (how to pat them). Previous ones: #5 "Market Day at the Village"
thumb_2204376.jpg #4 "Coming Out of the Forest" thumb_2186988.jpg Vue, Poser and Photoshop. Items from DAZ, C3D and myself. Nice for me "to be free" to make the fantasy etc. stuff again, after my half-hearted participation in the E-ON environment contest. It's not over yet, only for me it is :)
Thanks for viewing - comments always welcome and appreciated. Have a nice day - Lars *** Comment update *** I agree about the inside-out view being the most interesting, and having made the previous scene with the broader view of the market, that was the shot I had in mind. But to keep the "thread" I made the front/outside render as well, a close-up view of the trading situtation that can be spotted in the background in the market render.

Superb. I like viewing the scene from both angles. Wonderful render and atmosphere. The character's poses really tell their own tale. Looks like the knight better know how to haggle. Interesting description of rabies too. Awesome work.

I really like the lighting on the 2nd one and the detail of the crowd. This would be great as a QTVR if there are details in 360.
